Review: "An aromatic red, with floral and white peach notes accenting the black raspberry and plum flavors. This is an open-knit and fresh, offering light tannins on the finish." -Wine Spectator
My Review: This was a particularly interesting taste. When swirling and taking whiffs of the aroma, it had a very berry and banana nose. It was light in color, and very little legs after swirl. Looking forward to the taste, it came as quite a surprise when my first instinct was a cedar profile. It was quite odd at first and thought I had imagined it, but after the second taste it definitely tasted like wood, very cedar-esk. I know one thing about my pallet and that is it is not a fan of a woody flavor, unlike my grandma. For her, the oakier and drier the better. To me YUCK! So in other words I liked this wine the least out of the five I tasted.
On this occasion I tasted this wine on its own without food
